Coronation Cup Summer Tournament 2024
Buckingham Snooker Club
The club is looking to start the Coronation Cup tournament shortly. It is primarily a way to get to know other members and test your skills.
It is free to enter for all members, a ‘scratch’ tournament with no handicaps, run through the summer when the club is fairly quiet. Usual cost for the light meters. Last year there were 2 round robin leagues with the two highest placed players in each league then playing as semi finalists.
The format for this year will depend on the numbers entering, last year entrants got to play 7 x ‘best of 3’ matches over the course of around 3 months, followed by ‘best of 5’ semis and the ‘best of 7’ final. Planning for a similar set up this year.
